Chris Dietrich is a film director and writer from Vancouver, Canada. He graduated from Capilano University with a Motion Picture Arts Degree. During his final year of university, he wrote, directed and  composed the music for his short film, “Existential Therapy” - a quirky dramedy about self-acceptance. This film was his directorial debut and screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner in France, followed by a festival screening at the Ojai Film Festival in California, Absurd Film Festival in Italy, and Lift Off Festivals in both London and Berlin.

 

Since graduating, Dietrich has worked as a videographer, editor, logger and production assistant. His body of work includes corporate videos, documentaries, music videos and short films. One day he wants to write and direct his own feature film showcasing his unique skillset of music and film.
